I've seen it mentioned quite a lot that writing slower increases compatibility and when sending a master to a rep house you should write at 1x so there are as few errors as possible.
Can I check for errors with cdspeed2000? It seems as though I can. Using the ScanDisc option should I expect more red and yellow with burns at 8x-16x than when writing at 1x?
I have used Taiyo Yuden and only have 6 yellow dots! that doesn't seem too bad to me for 16x. Would different media and/or burner produce a disc with more sector errors?
Thanks for any info,
