View Full Version : BIFS Scene with H.264 - need help

Hi,

I created an very simple BIFS Scene with Audio and Video. When I use ASP as Video everything works fine, but if I use H264 than OSMO crashes and EnvioTV show no video. When I muxed the scene with MP4Box I got no errors.

I can play the same MP4-File in an simple Mediaplayer (like BS Player) and I see the H.264 Video? But I have no access to the BIFS.

So why can´t I see the video with an BIFS parser?

If I remember correctly, OSMO doesn't support h264 decoding.

With a recent libffmpeg Osmo4(MP4Client) support decoding H.264.
Maybe the libffmpeg your Osmo4 use is to old? Did you compile GPAC by yourself?

Hi,

No - I didn´t compiled this on my own. I use the version form http://www.aziendeassociate.it/cd.asp?dir=/gpac/dev . It´s funny, because OSMO runs only at one of my two computers without failures. At one Computer I can´t start OSMO with any MP4 File. But this is offtopic - I think.

The working OSMO crashes or show nothing. It´s the same with EnvivioTV. I used the H264 Edition of EnvivioTv.
