Hi all.
Although I'm not exactly new to moderate to advanced levels of PC use, I'm still having a very hard time figuring out how to compile source code in a Win32 environment -- namely, in WinXP.
So here's the deal: I downloaded GPAC 0.3.0 as well as MinGW 4.1.0; I installed MinGW 4.1.0 with absolutely every option box checked off. I made sure I dumped everything MinGW had to offer on my system.
After a number of hours trying to make sense of MinGW, its GCC components, and how all of it relates to GPAC, I gave up (as I only had half a head of hair left).
So here I am. Can someone explain to me as if I had an IQ of 4 how to compile GPAC (namely its MP4Box application) using MinGW? And please don't tell me to download a (out of date) binary from RareWares... I need to learn how to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert Aronson
