Subrip skipped errors?

How do I get rid of the "skipped - too small / short" errors? Is subrip skipping subtitles if I see this error?

It's skipping items smaller than the defined min character size and shorter than the defined min subtitle duration. You can change the first in the OCR options ant the last in the Global Options.
