Advantages of 2.0 version with comparation of 1.4:

1. New demux kernel.
2. New more handy file names.
3. Added pre-scanning of phisical DVD structure. It is very helpfull in case of lack of data in IFO files.
4. Corrected demux processing of multiangle and multistory.
5. New Subpicture processing.
6. Added slide show processing.
7. Added multiangle non-seamless processing (Avery angle may have individual Audio, Subpicture and Highlights).
8. Added mechanism of working with some non specification and non supported of Sonic Scenarist cases of DVD. For example, if every CellID in VobID is still, Scenarist not support such layout and DVD Reauthor convert it to VobID sequence, each of them is still.
9. Processing of scenes, that have not any data in IFO file, but present in VOB file.

We introduce a new method (PTS) of audio demuxing in the new versions. This demux mode is based on audio time offset relative to video in the places of change to next VobID. These times are taken from Navigation Packs and PTSes. So we made the demux of audio more accurate and correct. Now audio is always synchronized relative to video. This method is introduced in our software firstly and it is most accurate comparing to any other method of DVD demux.

"PTS" demux method description
In case of seamless change to the new VobID in VOB file the part of audio which belongs to the previous VobID by time is located in the current VObID. That's why, when standard VobID demux mode, the sound (at the seamless connection) at the turn of VobID will not be quite corrresponding to the current VobID. As the duration of such uncorrect audio in the begining of VobID is a split second it is ignored in VobID demux mode. When recompiling, it often brings to the sound artifacts in the form of "hics" at the turn of VobIDs.
With the help of a new developed "PTS" demux method (beginning from DVD Demuxer 1.5 and DVD Reauthor 2.5) it is possible to solve this problem in the most of similar cases. The main point of the method is that the sound is sorted with either VobID not by the physical belonging to VobID, but by the time relation to this VobID.
