hello-

i recently burned a .nrg file of a dvd. when i play it back on my computer (the same drive on which i burned the disc) everything works great. however, when i attempt to watch the dvd on my standalone panasonic dvd-s25 player, it only plays in black and white.

im assuming that this has something to do with the player. any suggestions as to what i may be able to do?

thanks

I am in NTSC land, however, im not sure what region the DVD is, perhaps it is PAL, but I'm inclined to think it is NTSC as it plays on my computer's dvd player which is set to region 1.

As I said, I am using a Panasonic DVD-S25 dvd player and a Panasonic TV, not sure which model.

The dvd player is about two years old and the tv is probably at least 5 years old.

I can't seem to find any switch or function that switches between PAL or NTSC on either the TV or DVD player. The dvd player is a pretty basic model.

Anymore help aside from that other thread is always appreciated.

Thanks.

theReal,

Re; Fourm rule #6, Just because I downloaded a movie off the internet doesn't automatically mean it is illegal content, nor do I make any implications that I illegally obtained copyrighted material. I have a movie burned which works great on my computer but it dosen't on my home theatre (scrolling black and white screen) can anybody help me?

I burned a movie I downloaded from the net,
OK then, what is the name of the movie and from where did you download it?

Is it a public domain movie?

As my sig. indicates I just like to Verify everything.

More info. in = more info. out.

For Everyones information, It is a home made DVD that was created on a
Sony Handycam DCR-DVD403 DVD Camcorder if you want to know what the content is its from my Son's summer vacation Shall I send it to whoever wants a copy. Maybe then you would have the same problem with it as I am having.( Black and White scrollong screen) I guess this Fourm page Which is Listed on DVD Shrink's page pretains to copying copyrighted material but don't want to help people with legitimate problems burning movies, I might now break the rules (no. 12) by saying thank you all for nothing
