I am looking to put together a new encoding machine with the new dual core AMD Athlon 64 4800+.
This will be my first AMD cpu since before the new millenium.
My requirements are simple. I want to be able to overclock this as much as possible. Not a gaming machine. Would prefer on board 4xSATA Raid-5 solution and be at least kind of quiet.
What motherboard/memory/case/psu do you recommended.
I have a 2500.00 budget.

Here is my advice. If you buy AMD Dual Core, then you must buy Athlon 64 4800+.This is a fantastic choice.
Motherboard: LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D(description of this motherboard you will find on http://www.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_spec_details_r_us.jsp?PRODUCT_ID=3471&CATEGORY_TYPE=LP&SITE=US). This is the best motherboard for dual core Athlon 64.
Memory: 1 GB OCZ EL DDR PC-4800 Dual Channel Platinum Elite Edition

Adition to memory,is OCZ DDR Booster. With this device, you can raise memory voltage to 3.9 V without damaging modules.Link is http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/power_management/ocz_ddr_booster_diagnostic_device
Case: Antec P80,with 5 places for coolers inside. When you buy this case, you will get only one cooler inside case, other four is you choice,120 mm coolers.
PSU: The best on the market is OCZ ModStream 520 W. Link is http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/power_management/ocz_modstream_power_supply
I don't know to tell you anything about Raid 5 combinations, but a five 300 GB HDD is enough.
2500.00 euros or 2500.00 USD.
