I did say sabbu would be out any day in the other thread.
Well here's 0.2.5 ;) I hope you enjoy it.

Here's the summary of changes:

Improved support for non-English languages
the Encoding field of styles is used to properly read non-Unicode text
ability to save and open scripts in UTF16 encoding
support for translating sabbu
(Brazillian Portuguese, Spanish, and Japanese translations are included)
Paths containing non-English characters no longer confuse sabbu

OSS output code
Sabbu can now be used on some other platforms (reported to work on FreeBSD)
New syntax highlighter
Flexible zooming
Comment lines and empty lines inside scripts are now preserved
Slightly improved text importer
Styles can be deleted in the Style Manager
Default Zoom option
The text editor is now resizable
Improved movement speed when the "<", ""<"<", ">", ">" buttons are held down
The Start/End time values can now be edited directly
Shift Times dialog now uses a text box instead of a bunch of spinners
A toggle on the main screen for enabling/disabling automatic wave jumping
Start/end markers now snap to keyframes
Margins are no longer ignored in subtitle preview
The waves should not lose focus anymore (one-letter shortcuts should work much better now)
Disabled the "type-ahead" feature that apparently was interfering with the one-letter shortcuts on some systems
Show warnings when opening scripts with unknown lines/sections
SRT open/save code
Sync Event to Wave feature
Simple Text Export feature
F2 saves the script
Remember window size and position
Bug fixes

As usual it's available from http://www.sabbu.com

nice ...I allready am playing with it

one thing I noticed if I typeset with the videomode it only shows the text for the line that is currently marked in the vidscreen... I noticed that when I wanted to adjust a 2nd line to the line I just did...hmm in other words overlapping subs won't appear together in the vidscreen
I'd really appreciate to have that if it were possible :)

keep up the awesome work ...sabbu rox
thx

Maybe in the future. The Video feature is pretty crappy right now.
After I release the next version, I plan to switch over focus to video features.
