I'm looking for some software that acts as a Printer Driver in Windows XP that allows you to change the type of dithering that your printer uses.
I have an HP LaserJet 4ML printer that's only 300 DPI. When I print images on it (like a Google map or just a photo) the dithering that's used by default is Halftone I believe. I want to be able to force it to use Floyd-Steinberg or Error Diffusion dithering instead.
I used to be able to do this on my Amiga and I could have sworn I found some software for Windows that allowed me to do it too but I can't for the life of me remember it.
The HP drivers only allow Halftone. I'd like something better!
Anyone able to help?
