VLC + DirectVobSub ?

Hello!

DirectVobsub is in many ways superior to the subtitle handling of the VLC Media player. Is there a way to have these two programs work together ? (i.e. as it is with other players, directvs would start playing subtitles when you start a video file with a similar filename)

VLC doesn't use the Direct Show framework, so it will not load direct show filters - DirectVobsub/VSFilter is a direct show filter.

Yes, thought so! Hoped there was a a patch or something out there, but i see, thasts a no-go, but thanks anyway!
