Hello.

I was wondering if somepeople can help me. I use DVDShrink to burn all my dvds like to backup them. I use DVD Shrink to put them onto the HD and then it says Burn with nero and it burns them and then the temp files on the computer, I delete them. But for some while now everytime I want to back up a dvd theres a problem. I've tryed to re-install DVD Shrink and still no luck. Heres the problem:

I open DVD Shrink and hit Open Disc at the left hand of the DVD Shrink screen. Then a message like this comes up:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to read file "D:\"

Incorrect function

Can someone tell me whats the matter with it. I'm trying to burn 2 dvds and it keeps coming up like this :(

Update -

I've tryed all my dvds now and they don't work. Does anyone else another way to burn DVD - DVD ? I'm going to try DVD Decrypter now to make a .iso file and then burn it to a DVD? Maybe that will work?

NEED HELP! PLEASE!

Stephaine, DVD Decrypter can also burn your DVD, rather than having to use Nero - just use ISO Write mode (I presume you are currently making an ISO with DVDShrink).

You may also like to look at expanding your processing to remove trailers / FBI Warnings etc. This not only gets rid of annoying stuff but enables you to use less compression in DVDShrink (even if you currently are using Shrink's still image replacement). Head on over to the IFO/VOB Editors (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=50) section of the forum. See links to free programs in my signature (most have guides there also). Plenty of people in IFO/VOB Editors forum will help with any problems you come across.
