HI,

I am trying to figure out how to capture subtitles or closed caption with this ati thing from the tv. Both the TV and the ati tv viewer will display the subtitles also, however, everything I have tried to capture so far will not work. I found something on the ati web pages that says it will capture closed caption only, which is great, however, it does not say how.

How would closed caption or subtitles be captured from TV also? Please and thank you. Are DVD/VCR with the cable hooked up to input able to display closed caption from TV and if so how? Please and thank you. Does virtualdub have a filter or something that would enable closed caption to be captured from TV and/or is there different software that would work and how? Please and thank you. It came with the studio 9 software also, will that capture subtitles also and if so how? Please and thank you.

Thanks!

I just started doing this myself, and it works fine for me.
The graph doesn't look exactly like the one shown there, and in fact, I don't even connect to tee/sink-to-sink converter.
I couldn't connect to remote graph either. But after closing my cap. program, I manage to do it.
Mine looks like this:

Your card might not support this, I don't now.
Try searching the forum for McPoodle, and see what other people did.
