hello all, since my other post didn't quite help so i'l ask it again:
i have demuxed by cell id's the VTS_01_0.VOB of a DVD (witch means the menu's VOB)
i'v demuxed the cell that contains the menu i want to edit.
i'v edited the .m2v and added a new button area into it.
so now i got .m2v .ac3 and .sup...
what I want to do is edit the sup in order to add a highlight to the new button that i have added.

any1 could help me with that?

AFAIK there is no such app which could make sup file to create menu vobs. As you probably know menu subpicture stream contains 3 layers: display, mask and highlight. But in subtitle stream mask and highlight layers are not used. Neither SRT2SUP, nor SubtitleCreator do not accept bitmaps for mask and selection layers. You have to reauthor that cell with some authoring program (like Scenarist) and replace that cell in orginal menu with VobBlanker.

here's what i did recently:
demux sup to bmp with subrip
edit the bmp to have a 'new button'
save menu image to bmp with pgcedit (luckily it wasn't a motion menu)
edit that one to have a text for the new button
demux audio with pgcdemux
author those into a dvd with dvdauthor
because i needed 2 SUPs (wide & lb), i had to do that twice
then i authored a new dvd with muxman (took that bpm & 2 SUPs and audio)
finally it was time to replace the cell with vobblanker
and to finish it all, fix the commands with pgcedit.

i know, a lot of work only for the menu, but at the end, it all worked.
