I'm gonna put it simple. what's the easiest way to deinterlace one avi. file if it's manga movie and with minimal loss of quality?

It seems as if, in my experience, all deinterlacers I've used blurred/blended the fields instead of interpolate, no matter what settings were used. When I run deinterlacing or IVTC, I use VirtualDub-MPEG2 to open the MPEG2 file to run those operations, if my DVD decoder (PowerDVD) is set to run on hardware acceleration.

use filter smart deinterlace
