I know this question has been asked many times before, but my situation is different in that I am not dealing with the "ts" format that everyone seem to be talking about (I wish I was, it would make my life easier), I have "tp" format. My problem is that the software that came bundled with my Fusion HDTV card (called Fusion Converter) misaligns the Audio/Video snyc. The problem is futher compounded by the fact that I can't find any other software that has compatibility with my dredded "tp" format. With Fusion Converter I can convert to avi or mpg so I can use any other program that has compatibity with these more standard formats, but too late the damage is already done. My converter screws up the sync.

DO YOU RECKON I WOULD NEED TO TRY A DIFFERENT PROGRAM?
ARE THERE ANY OTHER PROGRAMS THAT HAVE COMPATIBILITY WITH A "TP" FORMAT? AND IF SO WHICH ONES?

.tp is equiv to .ts. Just run the recording file through project-x (preferably) or pvastrumento, then do whatever with the resulting stream files.

You could take a look at webscheduler (http://forums.dvbowners.com/index.php?showforum=28) for recording if you can get BDA drivers working for the card.

I have a MDP120 HDTV capture card which saves '.TP' files as well. DrP is right on da money. ProjectX is your friend.
