If I accidently posted a thread and seconds later want to delete it, why don't I have the permission to do so? You can delete individual posts but can't delete your own thread with no replies.

should work... No, it doesn't. It didn't work for me in the Test forum and also in another forum as attempted here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=683989#post683989) All I have is editing rights with my first post without no replying to it. :(
It was like the previous forum in which we had to later re-edit the thread title to say "Delete me" for a moderator.

I can't do it either and I know it can be implemented in the software becasue over at Digital Digest it can be done, even after replies have been made.
Swede, we need you!

We turned this setting off a while ago due to a member who ran amok and deleted all 'his' threads, some of them rather long and interesting. But I've turned it on again since we now have the ability to save 'deleted' posts, meaning that the next time I don't need to partly restore a backup...

BTW, congratulations on reaching your 1000th post! :DHehe, I never intended to be a big poster since I'm not that skilled in video processing. I just happened to offer my services to doom9 some years ago, since I've learned so much, and everything went downhill from there. ;)
