"ERROR 0006: DVD-RB has found framecount differences between the prepare and rebuild phases. Aborting."
DVD Rebuilder Pro .93.2
DVD: Cold Mountain, NTSC Region 1, Ripped with DVDFab Decrypter
DGDecode 1.1.0 (262,222 bytes)
HC 0.15.0.0.
Error occurred in both normal mode and "Movie and Menus Only" mode.

What's strange is that the log file incorrectly notes HC Version as 0.14.0.0. But the GUI--under Help, Display Versions--correctly lists it as 0.15.0.0.

I've attached the log and inf files from the second try, "Movie and Menus Only."

I experienced exactly the same behavior using CCE SP Trial 2.67 and A Beautiful Mind. I am using the Freeware beta version. Now trying different movie for testing purposes. It seems this is a common error but I have seen no solution.

Quick update: I ripped the movie again with DVD Decrypter and got a read error at roughly the same spot in the movie as I got the error with DVD Rebuilder.

I think we can blame the disc for the problem.

Funny that DVDFab Decrypter ripped the disc without any error messages.

Disk error may be involved in many case i think. I had that problem with 2 dvd taht were ripped correctly. From what i've find out in previous thread, this may have a relation with the movie and menu only.

Has anyone had this error and tried to redo the disk fully?

I had no reported errors on my rips with dvd decrypter, although this seemed to be the cause for Rockas in the other error 6 thread.

@DrShrinker. From your first post, was the "normal mode" a test with the full disk? If so, this puts my blanking theory to rest.

Yup, full disc. Tonight I'll try with a different copy of Cold Mountain.
