First off the Pro version does a great job...awesome...however, it messes up the chapters with Coach Carter (which is not multiangle). My original DVD has 23 chapters, but the DVD-RB Pro version makes it with 37....in fact after you hit a chapter after chapter 23 the movie starts over...if you just let the movie play all is ok...just a problem with chapters. To fix this I just ran the RB Pro output through TMPG DVD Author and made a simple movie....all was ok; only 23 chapters.
Anyway to fix the extra chapters with PGCEdit? Any idea why other chapters showed up?
DVD-RB Pro says it has no problems in the log...
any ideas?

I have a problem with From Hell R1, It plays fine throughout the whole movie but when its goes from chapter 2 to 3 it rewinds the time backwards to were chapter 2 started.

Gizzen,
any more info? Did you do anything outside RB'rs defaults?
Main movie only, menu and movie, blanking out extras?

I bought Coach Carter just before I went out-of-town for the weekend. I'll run it some time today and see what happens. I have the R1 version -- is that that same as yours?

Yep Region 1.....same thing happened with my girlfriend's Hostage Region 1 (what a Bruce Willis Fan!!!!). Extra chapter added "after" the movie so it "rewinds" to play another part. You can fix with TPMG which ignores the mess-up.
NOTE: PowerDVD plays them fine...standalones do not.
these are movie only for me...no changes in defaults

I didn't catch the "movie-only" comment until this morning... but I ran it through in normal full-disc mode last night and it worked fine. I'll try it in movie-only and see what happens.
Please post your REBUILDER.INI so I can make sure I have the same settings as you.

Sorry about not stating the movie only thing first....unfortunately due to hard drive constraints I had to delete the build (work stuff you know).
I did try the Terminal though.....same problem, there seems to be added chapters in the movie only mode...these chapters are ignored with TMPG DVD Author which fixes it all up. Full disc modes are fine...maybe movie only has an issue...or just bad luck?

What version are you using? On some earlier versions I'd created a new IFO from scratch and each cell became a chapter -- I later changed that... I haven't observed any problems like what you're describing though.

0.93.2 pro....is this latest?
these issues only came up on my 3 standalones...PowerDVD was fine. again this is movie only.
The Terminal was not as I described above (trying to think of too many things). After the last chapter, if I hit chapter again you could hear the player move back to what I thing is the VMG domain to "look" for a menu...what is the nextpgcn in the IFOs you make? Is it pointing to something else.
I also noticed that you do not have an exit command in the post commands for the movie...I had an old player that would hang without an exit command (daytek I think)
