I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question. If there is a better one, please point me to it.
I have tried several times to burn a particular mini-DVD with Nero Express, and have not got it right yet.
A mini-DVD is basically a DVD burned on a CD-R blank. Of course the amount of data cannot exceed 700 MB, but the resulting video is in DVD format, and it plays like a DVD. I have made some of these successfully.
With the one in question--I first authored the mini-DVD, in a DVD folder on my HD. (Being about 10 minutes of video, it fits on the mini-DVD.
The DVD folder on HD will play back fine, video and audio, on any software that can play a DVD.
When I burn it to the CD-R blank, the burning process is reported as having completed successfully. Everything looks fine. However, when I try to play back the created mini-DVD, either on the computer or on a standalone player, the audio is completely messed up.
I have tried this several times, always with the same problematic results.
Anyone know what might be going on?
