Enemy of The State Angle Problem

I'm not sure how helpful this post will be but I'm on my 2nd time trying to do this movie, Enemy of the State. The main problem with this is that there are non-seamlessly branched angles in the movie. All the angles are basically when there is text on the screen, like "At Mr. John's residence, 1700 hours" and the angles are in what appear to be french. So what I tried to do was just remove the avs files which have these angles in them and tried doing the project. I think the problem I had was that scenarist never imported the script properly, it always gave me an error. So I'm trying to do it again, haven't done the encoding yet, would doing what I did the 1st time work? Should I try it again? I'm sorry for being vague about my problem

why don't you rip you movie by selecting the desired angle ? dvddecrypter allow you to strip other angle when you do the ripping process.

D3s7 was working on direct support of stripped angles. what you could do now is just override dif4u's selection of vobid demux and just use pgc demux. then open into scenaid. screate the script but dont use auto scenarist. scenaid will make dummies for the angle block. load the script into scenarist and manually remove the dummy blocks and then compile. if you dont want to get really that involved you may just want to wait.

The disc was R1 NTSC WS. I used DVDRB 0.95 Free Edition with CCE 2.67 at 1 pass VBR (with analysis). Any other passes did not work. I also increased the targetsectors to 3110000. Steal space from extras were enabled at 50% and half D1 and half space for extras enabled. The overall bitrate was 3808kbs and reduction was 71.8%. The output was 5.15GB. Then I used CloneDVD2 to remove the Angle 2, all extras, and French audio. Finally what I got was 4.22GB. Hope it's helpful for others. :devil:
