Hi, everybody!

I would like to know if any of you have heard of some standard which may carry video in H.264 for broadcast. I am interested in everything involving TV broadcast so I would be very pleased if somebody could give more information about this.

Thank you all! :D

I'm not sure what they will be using for broadcasting... but for storage it will probably MXF.

Maybe you can find some info here --> http://www.pro-mpeg.org/index.html

I don't know about DVB but we are already in our lab receiving and decoding test H.264 satellite broadcasts by DirecTV. It's coming!

MPEG-2 Transport Stream (TS) will be used to convey the AVC elementary stream.

Go to http://pda.etsi.org/pda/queryform.asp and type in TS 101 154. The version you are looking for is 2005-1 or newer (2005-6).

Thank you all.

I'll have a look to those Latexxx talk about and I will see if they say something about encapsulating H.264.
