1.How can I split a ripped copy of a DVD movie from my HD (which has aprox. 8GB) in two parts to burn them on two normal DVD's - not a duble layer? (I used DVD Decrypter to rip the movie)
2.Which program is better to use for burning them?
Thank you!

Why split ?
You could probably get that on a 4.7 gig DVD with good quality. Especially if you blank/hide all the extras.
Get DVD Rebuilder Pro..thy that...make a ISO and then see how it looks.
If you still want to split, I believe CloneDVD allows you to split, or you can use DVDShrink reauthour mode to make two ISO's (part 1 & part 2)

I'm a newbie in this field,so I didn't understand all that you said.
How and what is blank/hide all the extras and which program can I use to remove some audio tracks (the movie has four of them and I want to keep just the english one, also some subtitiles etc.) to get it on a 4.7 gig DVD.

This is a good place to start. On the doom9.org site onthe left column, you'll find plenty to read. Try the guides and the FAQ..plus the search button.
Good luck and if you have anymore questions, come-on back
