Hi
I use the same virtualdubmod_1_5_10_1_All_inclusive package to install on my winxp machine
I can load VdubMod and right click to send the avi file via "sendto" to create the simple avs script. And then using Crl E, then O to open up the editor.
But when I hit the 'F7' in the editor to save and reload the avs script as AVI, VDUB crashes.
The script has been saved though.
Also when I load the avs file I get the Virtualdub Error "AVI inport Filter error"
In my case there is only a test file in the folder. I empty the folder and still no go.
Can anyone help.
Perhaps if anyone has successfully loading avs file using VDubmod, please tell me which package to use.
I've search through the FAQ and this forum and came up empty.
thanks in advance.

do you have avisynth installed?

Well I used the Avisynthesizer.exe contained in this package Avisynthesizer_2003_02_16.zip. This in combination with VDubMod 1.14 works great in my other Win98SE machine.
But this setup doesn't work in the WinXP.
However this morning I download and install Avisynth_255.exe
Well this works , letting me load avs script file and using the F7 key in VDubMod.
But now the VDMod interface looks different. There is no Audio tab; instead thee is a Streaming? No Save WAV, no save sigmented AVI, etc
This is a total different interface.
I am totally confused.
Would be nice if you can just tell me which file to use to install avisynth?
thanks for any suggestions.
