Well if you looked at your previous posts
Since x.264 comes with no decoder you need to enable ffdshow h.264 support in "vfw codec configuration" and ensure ffdshow installed its plugin for virtualdub(mod).
To be sure it will work, download the latest milan ffdshow build from here: http://ffdshow.sourceforge.net/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Getting+ffdshow
after you installed it and placed the plugin in the virtualdub(mod) plugins folder, check the "vfw codec configuration" and enable h.264.
Start virtualdub(mod) and open your x.264 encoded file.
Enjoy.
Follow the old instructions.

Anything more specific on the error than it just 'doesn't work'?
And Why Are You Talking All In Title Case? It Is Almost As Bad As ALL CAPS.

Well .. I Appologize ! Here Are Details On The Error I Get :
It Says Could Not Locate Decompressor For Format X264 (Unknown)
Virtualdub Requires A VFW Compatible Codec To Decompress Video !
Here Is What I Have Done : I Installed ffdshow indicating during the installatin process the directory for vdub plugins ! In The VFW Codec Configuration I Selected libavc In Front Of H.264 Codec .. I Tried Opening The File again and got the same error !
Please Help Again .. thank U and sorry again and again !

However I'm Having The Same Problem With The Newest Versions Of The Codec And what settings did you use? Not by any chance lossless mode? If so, you might want to read http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=95962&page=2 and pray that bond doesn't see this..
And "doesn't work" doesn't work on this forum.. we expect our members to be able to give a very detailed report that more often than not allows a direct answer without having to ask for more details.

Did anyone pay attention to this?

The VDub plugin and lossless should make no difference. Did you configure ffdshow's VfW decoder via VDub or the startup menu shortcut? Make sure that it is actually listed in VDub. Also try opening a fresh instance of VDub, rather than one you have say just used for encoding.

Thanks celtic_druid the info about ffdshow's vfw decoder in VDub under the commpression codecs. It fixed the same problem I was having with h.264 content showing up for editing in vdub.

Thank U Celtic_druid ! That Was The Tip I Missed .. I Was Configuring It Throught The Program Files Link Whereas We Must Configure It Throught Vdub .. Thank U ! It Works Now !
