Hello ppl

I tried my first, (batch mode ver .93.2) test last night, sorry to say it failed. When I got up this morning I found my pc was frozen. The screen saver was frozen. I had to cntl alt del to kick the screen saver out. I found that CCE 2.50 was frozen at 41%. I have put the screen saver on before and It only came on when DVD-RB had finished it’s job (single dvd, ver.93).

I tried it again this morning but this time I shut off the screen saver. It still had a problem. I don’t think it froze the first time ether. That happened on my second try is that it stopped at the same spot this time to. I was able to still use the program thought. It seams to have a problem with segment 8. When I cancelled it, it continued on to the next file. All the with the same settings as before. Dvd-rb pro, cce2.50. I’m going to try it with batch mode off

See you in a couple of hours.

Update

I was able to backup the dvd with .93 free.

So, The original files are ok, I checked the setting of pro and free, they match except for the new stuff which some were enabled, they were
FILE
Batch processing.
MODE
Output to iso image file
Movie only

Now the dvd was White Noise, it was run in shrink at 0 compression and authored to take out menu and the starting and ending credits.

Now what do I do??

Try without pre-processing is the most obvious answer. Load the original VIDEO_TS in 93.2 pro, then run prepare. Keep all your settings: Output to ISO, Movie Only, and whatever else. After prepare you can blank out the starting and ending credits using the Segment Editor, then after blanking run encode.

If you do it this way and it still messes up, youre will get more help than you would pre-processing with DVD Shrink

Why are you running batch processing? What movie(s) is in your batch job? On what movie does the batch process end up freezing?
