"Save Project
Saves Settings for later use.
TIP: Don't forget to enable the "Output Directory" (check Menu Mode) and set a different folder for each of your projects if you are planning to use "Batch Processing"."

Would this apply to the working folder too? I want to make sure, don't want to wast a nights work.

Gop settings in the advanced tab

“In some circumstances you can get better quality by extending the GOP size. Be careful, though, as the DVD size limit is 15 frames for PAL and 18 frames for NTSC and some encoders can occasionally make GOPs slightly larger than the number specified. Warning: Do not select "18 Frame GOP" unless you know exactly why. Some encoders (e.g. CCE Basic) will not accept a value of 18 for the GOP size."

Hello, I was wondering what the default setting would give me. I use CCE 2.50 And would like to push things to the limit, (for quality purposes). The fact that I’m in region 1 should give me access to the high end of the scale i.e. 15 to 18.

Also, if I’m using CCE 2.50 do I have to set a path in the options setup window to point to this decode.dll? Thus the only path that I do need is the ECLECC path when using DVD-RB PRO

What about my first question? In which post? :D

You can use a different folder for each project, or you can use the same working folder and DVD-RB will overwrite the old files when starting the next project. I can't recall right now if you have to use the "Supress Warning Prompts" option too.

Regarding GOP, I recommend leaving that alone unless you have extreme bitrate shortage on a project, and time to test that the encoded project will actually play without problems on the standalones you want it to.
