I presently use 2.50; it works but is 2.70 better/faster/
Just woundering before I take the plunge.

cce 2.70 is faster although few ppl have been getting missing frame errors with it - dunno if thats been fixed in latest release tho - although i only ever had that issue once with cce 2.70

what ver did you have, the latest is 2.70.01.04

For AMD's CCE 2.50 is faster... For P4's CCE 2.70 is faster.... so it depends on what CPU you have.... CCE 2.70 is better on interlaced stuff and dark areas (fade ins and outs) then CCE 2.50 and 2.70 can uses diff matrices with dvd-rb... 2.50 can't

what ver did you have, the latest is 2.70.01.04

2.70.01.04 is CCE Basic and is very good.... a little more limited then CCE SP but in most cases is as good as CCE SP 2.70.02.01

I'm using CCE SP 2.70.1.5 now.. should I upgrade?

fishman one of the last posts i read said that the issue was still there and that cinema craft were working on it

still im beta testing SAPSTAR's encoder so cce can take a back seat for a bit :P

I'm using CCE SP 2.70.1.5 now.. should I upgrade?
CCE Basic 2.70.01.02 and CCE SP 2.70.02.00 have the bug for some people (i never had any problems with eithar one of them).... CCE SP 2.70.01.05 doesn't have the same encoding engine so shouldn't have the problem

My brother and best friend had the problem (me, I was lucky and never did) and both new ver of CCE work fine on the Disc's (including the HBO logo) they were having problems with
