subtitle doesn't appear

Hi,

I'm newbie in dvd authoring so I got a silly question. why I can't see my subtitle in scenarist simulation window?
I used subtitle workshop to make the subtitle and I save it into sst format.
When I checked it using notepad, it doesn't have the directory. Is this the cause? And one more thing that I noticed, subtitle workshop doesn't create subtitle bitmap. I don't which one who make the subtitle doesn't appear.
Is there other program that can create subtitle in sst format?
I know that scenarist provides the subtitle generator, but it is too slow.
Take a lot of time to make a subtitle. Thanks in advance :)

maybe you should try this: maestrosbt
subtitle workshop is somewhat complicated in creating those bitmap files.(yes, no bitmaps, no subtitles in DVD!)
Oh, by the way, for a newbie(just like me), better try something like adobe's encore dvd instead of scenarist.(surely you can get more joy out of adobe than scenarist)
And one more suggestion for you: look through the user's guide before using a software. It can really help you with this kind of, you know, "silly questions"
