View Full Version : Upgrading from 0.86free to 0.93.2 Pro, manual vs Rockas installer?

Hello everyone,

I have been a very satisfied user since first trying the 0.86 free version and took the plunge tonight to donate and go "pro" for the automatic DVD Decrypter burning option. My main question is what the best route is for upgrading to the 0.93.2 pro version? I downloaded the manual and Rockas installer and wasn't sure which is better to use? I have updated previously using the manual option and first installed Rebuilder with a Rockas installer. Would I encounter any problems installing again with the Rockas installer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Tom

I simply installed the Pro version to a new folder using the Rockas installer. The free version is still installed in another folder. Both versions work fine.

Hi gust0208!

I have also used the Rockas installer with the v0.93.2 package during a fresh Windows installation and have experienced with it zero problems with the last fours or five backups I've done with that version.
