I've just completed testing a scenario in Scenarist 2.7 and all the functions, menus and programs work as they should. The problem is that the build is failing with a bogus error message as follows:

Info Creating DVD Files
Error The track<NAFFAA 2005_1> has place holder.
Error PreCheck From DB failed
Error DVD files could not be created

I carefully checked all the assets and all of them are set to Data, not Placeholder.
The track in question has no placeholders.

As mentioned, the entire scenario works properly in simulation. It's the build that I can't get past. In dozens of builds in Scenarist over the past 3 years, I have never run across this error.

Is anyone familiar with the error and what would cause it? I do hope my scenario is not corrupt, because that would mean another 3 days' work to rebuild it all from scratch!

After much manual picking around (some 500 slide images, plus 36 video/audio assets), I was about to throw in the towel, when I dug around in the Help menu under "placeholder". I found a command under the tools menu called "Replace placeholder" and used the All modifier. That did the trick. Whatever it was, it wasn't showing up on an asset by asset check. The catchall solution set all the bits right and now it's muxing the data.
