View Full Version : Problem with DVD-RB not rebuilding entire DVD

I have version 0.93. CCE 2.67, and Avisynth 2.5. The settings for rebuilder are as follows:

One click mode enabled
CCE mode
Enable output directory

Under CCE options, CCE SP is checked off
My VBR Bias, Quality Prec, and # of Passes are 25, 16, and 6

I am using the dgdecode.dll file that came with 0.93

I should mention that I used DVD shrink originally to reauthor and select the movie title only, and then ran the backup option with no compression. So it's that output directory that DVD-RB is working from.

My problem is this. The size of the DVD files in the output/source directory I want to rebuild, are over 6GB. I start the rebuild process with DVD-RB, and what used to take like 10+ hours with similar sized movies, only took 2-3 hours, and only 2 of the like 6 or 7 VTS files are rebuilt. Here is a copy of the log:

I do not know what the warning is, or if it has anything to do with the problem I am having, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried without pre-processing?

I often use DVDShrink to prep my files in a similar fashion, and ahve never encountered this problem.

Firstly, did you attempt to playback the output of DVDSHrink to ensure there were no porblems during it's extraction? If playback is correct, then you may wish to try CloneDVD to prepare the source, as I beleive it does some addition modification to files that remain after excluding extras/menus. It may be a glitch in the IFO files remaining after shrink.

Another long-shot possibility is to try using a different encoder, jsut to insure it's not some fluke in your CCE configuration.

Rockas, Do you mean without using DVD-Shrink first to re-author and decrypt? If so, I have not. But I would have to, at a minimum, use Shrink or DVD Decryptor to decrypt the DVD before using DVD-RB.

BadServo, The output files play fine with power DVD. I do have clonedvd2 also and I may try that.

Thanks,

I mean...

Rip the movie with DVD Decrypter and then run Rebuilder without touch anything :)

But please... if it results just follow BadServo's suggestion.
