Hi All,

I've been trying to make a backup of "K19: Widowmaker" which is PAL region 4 for Australia since DVD-RB version 0.72 nearly six months ago as reported in this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=603906#post603906). Basically the situation using DVD-RB 0.93.2 Pro has not changed from what I reported here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=635311#post635311) where there is just over 1 minute of playback where the audio and video start to stutter really badly. On a software player (PowerDVD) it looks like a slideshow with only a few frames a second being displayed, and on my Pioneer 355 it is more like watching it in ultra slow motion.

The movie is multiangle, but from what I can tell that is only to display the opening and closing credits in different languages, and the section that is effected is not a multiangle section. I'm definately no rocket scientist at all this, and would really appreciate some help in diagnosing exactly where everything is going pear shaped so I can give Jdobbs some information other than "it's not working".

I made that DVD without problems... but my zone is 2 and it wasn't multiangle.

Weird that they would have such different structures for the one movie in different regions isn't it? Anyway, just had a look at the rebuilder log file from when I tried backing it up with DVD-RB 0.81 and it seems that the multiangle segments are in the same VTS as the segment that is having the stutter issues, in fact it is the chapter immediately after the one with the multiangle segments in it.

I can post the ECL, INF, ini and log files from DVD-RB 0.81 if that will help at all? I won't have access to these files from 0.93.2 Pro until I get home tonight.

Maybe you should wait a little more for (RC)v1.0... maybe it solves your problem.

Will do. I saw a comment from jdobbs saying he has been doing a huge amount of work on ILVU processing for the first RC of version 1.0. Hopefully he has nailed the issue I've been having at the same time :) .
