What is the best way to merge the resulting reencoded menu files with the original dvd files?

I'm using NM4U standalone with CCE+Scenarist to reencode a DVD. I've reencoded the VIDEO_TS.VOB and VTS_09_0.VOB (09=main movie) menu's in this case.
I have all original DVD files copied to a seperate dir, what must I do exactly to get a fully working DVD with original structure intact?

Just copy over the reencoded .vobs and do a get_vts with ifoedit? Or do I need batch_ifoupdate?

Copy over the re-encoded vobs and IFOs. Then do a get vts sectors. There is a setting that will determine the copy option wanted. Setting copy option 3 will merge all the menu files & original vobs into one directory. Update vts sectors will still be needed at the moment.

Thanks, I was wondering what I had to do with the .ifo's.
I have copied over everything in the resulting (from scenarist) dir to the original dir, overwriting all files there and did a get vts.
The result works as it should, thanks!

I guess I'll do another run tonight with option 3, that sounds even better.. Even less thinking ;)

Oh BTW, I had to skip the VIDEO_TS.IFO, had to keep the original (non-reencoded) to get it working. This is normal, right?

I'm not sure what you have done here, but after scenarist has been run there is a main Video_ts folder (not the one in the scenarist dir ... batch_1/0/video_ts). This includes all the new vob files and updated ifo files. Copy remaining vob files into THIS folder (anf ifo files not already there). IF you get a warning that file exists then do NOT copy the file.

Do a get vts sectors on this directory. The dvd should play perfectly
