Tried to backup a movie called Sanglish and when you go to back it up it comes up as about a 9gig file. Saw alot of garbage in the disk to make it appear larger than it is. Anyone come across this ? Any way around it ?

Ahem, what exactly did you do? "backup" means what? Did you rip it onto your hard disk using DVDDecrypter with the "Check for Structure Protection" enabled? Did that part work? Let it be known that Spanglish has the very evil ARcOSS protection on it.

Like unskinnyboy indicated we need to know what applications you are using i.e. DVD shrink, DVD Decrypter etc.
Also, what kind of OS, burner etc. this goes for any question you ask in the future. Give lots of Details! Get lots of problem solvers!:sly:
I did a backup of my original Spanglish DVD with DVD Decrypter. No problems.

Now that you have it on your HD using DVDD, just use your favorite transcoding app. ie. Shrink or as you indicated CloneDVD and open the file you created with DVDD, re-author and burn.
