I have burned several dvds but they will not play on any regular dvd player. Is there some way they can be changed so that other friends may use them on their players. I cant find any information on this. As well my burner is a +/- and I dont know what regular dvd players are. Can anyone help?

Why wouldn't they play on a regular DVD player? What format are they in? Are they in DVD format or data discs?

Existing data on a DVD+/-R cannot be changed.

What movie source are you using to burn with?

Are you burning from your original DVD, from an ISO etc.?

thanks for the answer. I am burning from my computer and from a dvd writer. Both are done using a dvd-r disc. I still cannot use in a regular dvd player

Please explain further. You haven't given us enough information to troubleshoot your issue. "cannot use" means? Are you getting an error message? If so, what?

Also, what FORMAT did you write it in..?
