The white rectangle appears instead of video output when playing almost any video file with various media players (Crystal Player Pro 1.95, Light Alloy 3.0, Windows Media Player 9.00), but the same video was correctly displayed by the VidtualDub.
In the case any video file opened in any video player, the second video file, opened at the same time, displays normally until the first file will be closed.
The situation described appears every time I opened two video files in Crystal Player Pro 1.95 concurently and closed the first opened file before the second file. The only way to fix this I know, is incorrect rebooting of the system (RESET). Re-installing of video codecs didn't fix the problem. The fixcodecs utility of K-Lite Codec Pack didn't solve my problem too.
Software I used: Windows 2003 (I think, on XP same bug may appear), DirectX 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902), K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.28 (the same situation appeared when codec pack version 1.10 was installed and with some other configurations of codecs).
What can I do to solve the problem except incorrect rebooting the system?
