I just backed up AVP(seamless), oh thanks D3s7 deleting those folders got rid of the sub over lap.

Anyway i know there will be a slight pause where it switchs vobid where the original has IlVu , but im getting a slight pause on layer break change aswell.If i remove the layer break with ifoedit will this pause go (this LB is actually a LB, same as the original). Or is this the norm for a disc backed up by vobid??

I know it will pause at the IlVu part as its jumping id from 1-2-4 and the other PGC is going 1-3-4.But it should'nt when going 4-5 on the LB should it as theres no second layer.

I would just do it and try, but i not want to burn a second disc and the outcome is the same so i though i would ask first.

Nah.. changing that with ifoedit wont make a difference . there may be non seamless links in the script where there doesnt need to be. go into the scenario and see if there are spots that you can change the setting to seamless where it currently reads non-seamless. specifically at the layer break spot, but also any place else the vobid changes.

Is this correct.... I double click on the scn to open the project in scenarist, then i click on the scenario editor.Then if i click on a cell in the layout , theres a option at the bottom that says seamless flag.All the cells say seamlessly in the drop down section next to seamless flag, except the cell thats at the layer break, it says default(non seamlessly).It that the one i need to change to seamlessly ??? and will this then stop the pause at the layer break ? as it should'nt need a pause as theres not second layer of its not a point that have IlVu

thats it exactly.. and yes it will stop the pause. the non-seamless link (basically) tells the player to not to bother reading ahead and rebuffer when it gets to the next cell

Ah i see.. thanks. I could still edit out the layer break with ifo edit afterwords just so it dont so a layer break in the ifo.

I guess changing that on the actually part where the original was IlVu wont matter , would still get a slight pause right as its jumping from say 2-4. Although for some reason the two cells at the beginning near the IlVu are blank next to the seamless flag
