.vdr files

Hello.
I have been following the guide for capturing analoge video and everything was fine until i had to use TMPGEnc. I read everything that was written on that guide, I even search for an answer to my problems, but I couldn't find anything. I'm not able to open the .vdr files in the mentioned program, and Im not sure houw to use the frameserver, so I'm not able to compress the files that I have previously modified with virtualdub.
Please help me, or if I you know of someone who had the same problem previously, please send me the link, or tell me how to search for it.
It has come to my attention that the page where there was a specific tool or plug in needed no longer exists.

First run auxsetup.exe in the VirtualDub dir and install the handler. Also, dont close VirtualDub after saving the vdr file, it has to stay open to be able to actually do frameserving.

File must be named filename.vdr.avi when frameserved from VDub then opened in TMPGEnc. See http://www.videohelp.com/virtualdubframeserve.htm
