I'm currently trying to back up Star Wars Ep. 2. Now, I'm using the latest version of NM4U and I'm using Scenarist 3.0. I want to use the NM4U and Rebuilder method, but I think that the "rebuilder" part is irrelevant at this point because the problem is occurring at the Scenarist stage.

Here's the problem. I keep getting this error from Automated Scenarist: "Compile failed. Try to manully imort the .bat file into Scenarist." (in a nutshell...)

How in the world do I do that? Any ideas of what might be causing the problem? By the way, I've succesfully backed up 5 movies with this method, but this is a first. Oh yeah, NM4U is demuxing by VOB Id, that much I know. Thanks:cool:

This means that for some reason the script file has an error in it, which is suprising. Please run the debug mode (support -> get files for Zeul..) and point the browse button to the working dir. This should retrieve the files i need to determine the error. If you are NOT using an image file as source please manually zip up all the original IFOs and mail them to me. Mail address is under the support tab.

Zeul, I've sent those files you needed to your email. By the way, the closest thing I've found on this forum that's closly related to the problem that I'm having is here:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=91484&highlight=multiple+angles

By the way the complete error message is, "Scenarist has failed due to a script error, further actions have been cancelled," followed by,"Compile failed. Import manually and run the .bat files later." Thanks Zeul.

UPDATE: DANG! I FORGOT TO SEND THE IFO'S!

Dumb error on my part. One of the new bits I added a build or 2 ago, was to ensure that all subpic streams were identical when there were buttons. However, I forgot to put a check for when there is a STOP on the subpic. So one stream gets a STOP, the other was NOSTOP. Scenarist had a benny at that

All fixed in the next build due
