Can't Convert WMV

I have this WMV file, and I can't find any program that can convert it. What I really want to do it get it into perfect quality AVI so that I can XviD it through VDMod, but the only player I can even get the video to play with is Windows Media Player. I read that entire thread and I am still confused as heck, I can't get any of the programs to work...

Let me be more specific, I ran drmdbg.exe, then ran my video, and it just spams cdc: 54c0fbfd C:\documents and settings\all users\drm\indivbox.key

After that I don't know what to do...

I haven't actually done this myself, but if you are able to play the DRM'd WMV then maybe you could do conversions on it through AVISYNTH (maybe using Directshowsource ?)

I believe it can handle asf - which I think is kind of an older version of WMV -at least.
