How can I edit an M4A? It's possible to add some infos with Winamp, and I-Tunes, but how can I add an album image like the Apple's M4P?
Are there any tools that can make this?
Tnx!

Yes, you are right! I'm really a stupid man! I don't use them as M4A, but as MP4 and if you doesn't rename them in M4A you can't add the images.... this is because I use Nero to rip my CDs, and I don't use I-Tunes.
Than you Bond!

Yes, it works well, but you HAVE to use .m4a, it doesn't work with .mp4 (why? it's the same! They are really ######, I've taken all this afternoon to make this!).

It appears iTunes is more highly configued to read the MetaData information of files using the .M4A file extension.

I don't see anything wrong with this, as the .M4A file extension clearly identifies the file as being "audio only" and not audio+video!

Hi SMD!
Yes, maybe it's better to use .m4a extension, but the .mp4 is the same (but those guys of the Apple won't never understood this, also the I-Pod should play only .m4a and other Apple's "invention" (otherwise the .mp4 is .mov based, so they can do whatever they like).
It can also play mp4 (only audio) file, but you can't add the images (you can edit name of the artist, album and exc.). If the next versions support .mp4 it will be more easy for Nero AAC encoders users like me (but also Besweet encode the file as .mp4, it's not so strange, of course .m4a is more simple).

I'd be interested in a DOS/CLI util to tag my mp4 videos (I could add it to my batch file and eliminate yet another step :D )

Interestingly, the MetaData GUI layout in iTunes (see above post) is strikingly similar to the one used in mp4UI: -

Plus, I hadn't noticed until now that mp4UI can display the application that encoded the file - see highlighted.
