What would be the easiest tool for combining my M2V/VOB video file with my 5.1 AC3 file?
My apologies if this is in one of the MANY faq lists within this site/forum. I looked through a few and didn't find this particular question.
Thanks!

VOB is not a video stream only, it is sort of a container for video, audio, subpictures and what not
if you mean combine m2v and ac3 into an mpg container, also called multiplexing (muxing for short), there are several softwares available, for instance, TMPGEnc, bbMPEG and mplex (command line)

It's a top notch application for muxing elementary audio and video streams into .VOB files... prior to burning to disc. And you can create your own chapter points!
Cheers

I agree and I do use muxman. I like to try different tools and see the results of each one.
