Firstly, I want to thank you immensely for tireless effort behind DVD-RB, JDobbs. It has no less than revolutionized the way i think about quality with reguards to DVD Backups.
I have grown accustomed to using QMatOP on my prepared files prior to encoding, and have had very good luck with it. However, QMatOp never seems to interface with DVD-RB correctly. I would love to see support for it incorporated directly into DVD-RB. Providing options for automatically calling it between Prepare and Encode in One-Click Mode, and perhaps an option to have it launch after Prep in Manual mode.
Secondly, although I know it's been mentioned before, I'd love to see some manner of farming support for processing large tasks on multiple machines. I've used RBFarm in the past with decent success, but would love to see a more elegant solution.
Also, based on my recent successes with the HC encoder, as opposed to the CCE I had been using, I'd love to see a HC-compatible farming solution.
Any imput on these suggestions, be they positive or negative are appreciated.

What kind of issue did you meet in the interface with DVD-RB ? I made it as automatic as possible...you should be able to start the prepare the without waiting for it to end just start QMatOp through the graphical interface ?!?!

I have been successful in getting it to start immediately following the prepare phase, however, it never successfully starts the encode phase afterwards.

I'm trying out QMatOP for the first time now. And I was wondering about some very basic questions. For instance, do part 1 and part 2 have the same files? It seems like I was overwriting many of the same files. Secondly, does this program run automatically after the preparation mode? The program told me to go out of the one click mode. Yet, I still had to click on the QMatOP icon to get it running. Is there a way to get it to run in the one click mode or is that what the original post was alluding to?

But small explanation, how it's supposed to work :
You open DVD-RB in 3-click mode (Prepare/Encode/Rebuild)
You start QMatOp GUI, you config what you wish...then green checkmark.
After just press Prepare...and everything is automatic from there...Encode and Rebuild pahse are started automatically. Beware, if you are using the latest version of DVD-RB (0.93.2) you have to upgrade the DVDRBInterface, it'a also available on my web site....

I agree that this isn't the proper thread for QMatOp troubleshooting. I didn't plan on taking it down that road, but thanks for the help nontheless. I was hoping to economize my 2 requests into a single post.
Also, I did not mean to sound unappreciative of your efforts. QMatOp is easily the best add-on for DVD-RB. I consider it an invaluable tools, and I sincerely thank your for the effort behind it.
I am leaving DVD-RB maximize on the primary monitor during the process.

Did you upgrade to the latest DVDRBInterface if you are using DVD-RB 0.93.2 ??? Did you try to start QMatOp without using the GUI ?

I did Upgrade the Interface file and am using the recent versions of both QMatOP and DVD-RB Pro. THe first attempt I launched the QMatOp.exe file directly as per the readme file. Assuming that was the problem when it failed to trigger the encode, I use the GUI on proceeding attempts. Each time, I see the java progress meter hit 100% and the ENCODE command being used in the DOS box, but DVD-RB never attempts the encode.
It may jsut be a fluke, I'll wipe my files and reinstall everythign from scratch and give another attempt tonight. Thanx for the help.
