can not burn with dvd decrypter 3540

everything worked fine till yesterday.

(nero oem stopped burning first, and)
then dvd decrypter stopped burning.

i am using both / either
nero and/ or dvd decrypter with dvd shrink.

something is amiss.

dvd decrypter failure file atttached.
offering nero oem failure file also for comparison ...


please help.

i have written to nero support for their guidance with nero.

hmmm this really looks strange... honestly, i have no idea, what an internal reset is exactly and how it can occur...

anyway,only idea i have: have you tried using it a) on another computer or b) on another USB port? - perhaps the USB bus is somehow faulty...

thanks for the suggestion.

will try switching ports.

had similar incident months ago.
just can not recall what the remedy was.

may uninstall all rip and burning software and
disconnect NEC and reinstall all from scratch.

will advise as this progresses.

tested easy dvd shrink a premium software,
and i was able to burn to a dvd-r from a video TS folder.

my problem seems to be a software problem.

please help.

i found this premium software searching google for dvd burn etc.

and i was able to burn a video_ts file
created by the regular dvd shrink, the freeware software.


so again, the problem appears to be software related.

strange though, i used both nero and dvd decrypter and both failed.

the premium easy dvd shrink worked.
go figure :-/


any suggestions?
