I've got a video file which I have demuxed using dgindex into a .d2v file and an .mpa audio file. I can play the video fine in virtualdubmod. Now I want to add back the audio.
I added the .mpa into the stream list. Then I right clicked on the audio stream and checked full processing mode. Now when I try to play it I get the error "no audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format". How do I fix this???

get a mp2acm...
What is that??
searching doom9 didn't help.
I searched videohelp.com tools and come up with lame, besweet, ffmpeggui
Are you saying I need to install one of those or convert the file to WAV?

when i searched for mp2acm i got this: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=93479&highlight=mp2acm
which leads me to this: http://www.avisynth.org/Section+2%3A+AviSynth+and+frameserving#q2.9
read q 2.9 ;)

I saw that earlier. Helps with avisynth but not directly into virtualdubmod.
I guess you are suggesting to convert to wav and import into virtualdubmod instead of using the mpa file.
