If anyone has an easy suggestion for this problem, your help would be greatly appreciated. I usually use Shrink reauthor on my movies, Movie only.
My problem is with "The Goonies" R1. I want the original 5.1 track and the commentary DD2.0 track. Nothing else. The problem with this disk is that the commentary is one of those visual commentaries and the DD2.0 track is on another Title. I want to be able to reauthor that DD2.0 track and include it with the original 5.1 track. When I drag over Title 1 the DD2.0 track isn't selectable, it only shows up if I drag over Title 2, which of course will cause me to have to shrink way too much. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this....easily hopefully. Thanks for your help.

From what I recall that feature uses angles to present the visual commentary. Which means the audio is present in both titles, but the inappropriate audio is disabled in each title PGC. If you were to enable the audio, DVDShrink should be able to copy both with a single title.

Try this. The files will have to be on you HD to work. Open the VIDEO_TS folder with PGCEdit. In the left window, rightmost column, Find the Title with the Commentary (the same Title # you saw in DVD Shrink). Double click on it and a new window will open. In the top middle of the screen will be the audio options for that Title. You can click on a button to change the Audio Stream used, but for now, we just want to see what stream is the commentary track. Once you have that, close the window.

Now, find and double click the movie title that you want to keep. Select the first audio option that is set to 'none' and click the button. Use the slider to select the # for the commentary audio stream. Click Set. Then click OK. Then Save DVD from the file menu or toolbar.

Now open the files with DVD Shrink and see if that audio track is present in the main title.

Some of this is based on guesswork, so it may not work, but it's worth a shot. I've seen the DVD, but never looked at the files.

WOW!!!! Thanks so much wmansir.....just like you described....I was able to reauthor it with the original soundtrack and the commentary and it just fits the DVD-r with no shrinking!! Couldn't be easier, thanks again.
Thanks to the author of PGCedit...fantastic tool.
