I tried burning an avi movie to disc to play on my standalone dvd player, i first used nero which gave me an error saying it was unable to finish burning the disk. Then i tried using win avi to dvd to convert the avi to dvd and it stopped encoding at 99%, i left it running for about half an hour but it had just stopped. Could this be due to bad data in the avi, bad frames or audio. I know there is a program called divxfix floating around on the web but i have never used it before.. Anyway i am currently burning another file to disc just to make sure my hardware isn't giving me the problem. I have the nero log file if anybody wants to take a look.
