Im getting a error with ifoupdate (ver.0.78).... after running it i get a error saying ' ERROR: File: VTS_05_2.VOB is not correctly sized on sector boundary. ABORTING' .

Now i have searched and there was a thread about this but it was concerning a BUP file. Im getting this message on a VOB plus the strange thing is the VOB is the original VOB, I never touched VTS_05 i was working on VTS_04.

Any ideas.?

Most people have abandoned ifoupdate some time ago. Try batchupdateifo (not stating you won't get an error though ;))

yeah.. when i wrote batchupdate i made sure sector boundaries were reassessed so that if cell info came out longer than the origional ifo , it would still output a legal ifo. all pointers are rewritten to their new locations.

it would be nice if ifoedit fixed the error instead of just warning about it. but oh well... it may be possible to take your ifoupdate ifo and make a copy of it in a different directory. then use it as your source and output ifo and run it through batchupdateifo. then the output should be ready to run through ifoedit if you wanna tweak something.

im only offering the last solution if you are doing something like cell mode which batchupdateifo doesnt do.

OK, thanks.... i gave batchupdateifo a try, didnt get any warnings.Worked fine.

I only have Transfer VTS_C_ADT Table and Transfer TIME MAP and ADMAP ticked, the audio, subtitle and colour maps are unticked(never had these options tick in ifoupdate) as they dont need changing and copy command table is unticked(not sure what this is but it was already unticked so i left it.
