I keep getting an error from the latest NuMenu4U. Here is my scenario. DIF4U v1.4.0.0 begins and auto starts NuMenu4u as it should, NuMenu4u runs through it's processing normally and the Sonic Scenarist (v2.7) script executes and completes with no errors, but as soon as Scenarist is done I get the following NuMenu4u error.

Procedure Name: CorrectIfos
Module Name: ExecuteProgram

Error Number: 5
Error Description: Invalid procedure call or argument
Error Source: Project1
Error Line: 38
Call Stack:
ExecuteProgram --> CorrectIfos
ExecuteProgram --> EnableUpdateIFO
ExecuteProgram --> StartNuMenu4u
MainForm --> go_Click
MainForm --> Form_Activate

I've tried it with several different movies from a DVD Decrypter ISO Image mounted to Daemon tools and always get the same error. When I click "OK" to proceed beyond the error DIF4U completes but when I scan my default DIF4U directory ScenAid v1.6.0.0 reports "Could not find a valid VTS directory. If any other info or logs are required please let me know and I will gladly supply what is needed.

Thanks to anyone for any help.

Oh also I know this has nothing to do with my problem but here goes any how; I would really like to donate to the authors of the Big 3 programs how ever Pay Pal will not work for me due to lost/abandoned Pay pal account info. I can not and don't want to establish a new account. Is there any alternative method of donating? I've tried posing this question to the author of DIF4U at his web site but it seems that capability has been disabled.

Thanks and Regards

I can almost guarantee that zeul is going to request the debug info (the application can generate that) which will ask you to point ot your root demux then create a .zip file and mail it to zeul

however at the least, shoot him your .log and the new/old .ifo's

This is a strange one - that error line, is where i determine the filelength of the original IFO. There will be a file called Update_Menu_IFO.bat. Please open this bat file in notepad and paste here what is written.

ooh i wonder.... Is the iso dismounted afterwards? This WOULD cause this error.

You say this error has occured on several discs - this suggests something else and not a numenu error, the above would cause this is dvd decrypter is dismounting the drive after being run (just a possible cause)

Here is what is contained in the Update_Menu_IFO.bat file.

"C:\Program Files\NuMenu4U\MenuIfoUpdate.exe" -batch_1 -input_G:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.IFO -root_C:\DIF4U_Default_Movie_Folder

Also the ISO image remains mounted to my virtual drive in Daemon Tools.

Any other info required just let me know. I sure would like to get my Big 3 process working smoothly again. Any & All help is appreciated.

I'm wondering if my problem is with the MDS file created by DVD Decrypter. I just discovered that when mounting my ISO image to Daemon Tools using the MDS file created by DVD Decrypter nothing is recognized in the virtual drive. How ever when I mount the ISO Image it's self directly to my Daemon Tools virtual drive then the movie image is recognized. Perhaps this is the root of my problem. I will try it and see what happens.

Thanks for everyone's patience. :thanks:

Ok, before starting the DIF4U process and with the ISO image mounted directly to my Daemon Tools virtual drive the ISO image is recognized in the virtual drive and I can explore its contents using Windows Explorer. After the NuMenu4u process the ISO image displays as still being mounted in my Daemon Tools virtual drive but when I use Windows Explorer to view the contents of my virtual drive it recognizes my virtual drive as being empty even though the ISO image is displayed (by both Daemon Tools and Windows Explorer) as being present and accounted for, so something is happening to the virtual drive and or the ISO image mounted to it during the first stages of the DIF4U process. Anyone have any ideas?

Start DVD Decrypter

Click Tools -> Settings
Click the "Device" tab and make sure "eject tray after..." isn't checked for any of those

sounds like after demux dvddecrypter is unmounting the drive... this is somewhat a common issue that crops up

That solved the problem. Thanks D3s7 you just solved my problem. Now it's time to start encoding.

Thanks again for the brilliant yet simple solution.
