Is it possible, to burn 2 different previously compressed 4.35GB video files at the same time or would this overload my PC, Sony Desktop PCV-RS520, 120GB D drive, Maxtor 160GB external G drive, Pioneer DVR-108 & 109 writers. Useing Shrink 3.2 to draw video files from the D drive then write with the DVR-108, and at the same time useing Nero 6.6 to draw video files from the G drive and write them with the DVR-109.

FWIW, I've burned up to 3 DVDs at once, 2 or 3 using DVD Decrypter to burn either ISOs or PDIs (you can open up an infinite number of DVD Decrypter windows) and a single window of RecordNow Max to burn a VIDEO_TS folder. I've not tried it with DVDShrink or Nero....

Worked perfect, but I don`t think I would compress 2 different video files at the same time, noticed CPU useage spiked at close to 100% dureing compression stage for just 1 movie. But 2 different already compressed movie files came out perfect to my 2 Pioneer writers at the same time, and averaged between 20% to 30% CPU useage.

I've also compressed 2 movies at the same time, running CCE and InstantCopy while burning a couple of DVDs. This is a s"tart when you go to bed or go to work" exercise since it slows things down, but it works if you've got a stable computer....
